The Chinese Embassy has pledged to donate 20,000 health kits to schoolgirls in Balochistan as part of the 'She Power' initiative, aimed at promoting essential hygiene and health awareness.
At the launch ceremony, distinguished guests, including National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq and Chinese Ambassador Jiang Zaidong, highlighted the initiative's potential impact on women's health. Senator Saleem Mandviwala also attended the event.
Sardar Ayaz Sadiq praised the embassy's effort, emphasizing its significant impact on women's health and acknowledging China's broader support, such as donating a solar system to the parliament. He expressed optimism about CPEC's future and the visionary leadership of President Xi Jinping.
Ambassador Jiang Zaidong emphasized the importance of the health kit distribution in improving health facilities. He praised the strengths of Chinese and Pakistani women in fostering economic stability and reaffirmed China's commitment to deepening cooperation with Pakistan, referencing the productive recent visit of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to China.
The Ambassador also highlighted the importance of agricultural exports and various CPEC projects, including the development of Gwadar Airport, in strengthening Pakistan's economy.
