Gwadar is on the brink of becoming a major international trade hub as the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) progresses into its second phase.

Key CPEC projects in Gwadar include the construction of the New Gwadar International Airport, valued at $230 million, the East Bay Expressway, costing $179 million, the development of Gwadar Port with a $300 million investment, and the China-Pakistan Friendship Hospital, which is set to cost $100 million.
