In a momentous event, Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal inaugurated the Senator Muhammad Ishaq Baloch Cricket Stadium Gwadar, a collaborative effort between the provincial government and the Pakistan Army.
Kamal expressed the government's ambitious plans to expand the stadium, envisioning a cricket ground that meets international standards. He emphasized the importance of nurturing the youth's engagement in healthy and creative activities, and to this end, the provincial government has initiated construction on 33 sports complex projects across Balochistan.
In 2019, an allocation of Rs20 million was dedicated to the construction of the Gwadar stadium, alongside the Baba-e-Bizenjo Football stadium project.
#### Laying the Foundation for Progress
During the ceremony, the chief minister set the groundwork for nine crucial projects, including tourist resort developments in Kund Malir and Marine Drive, marking significant milestones in the region's development. He also participated in the stone-laying ceremony for a women's hostel, women's business center, women's bazaar, and a beach model park. Kamal further inspected the ongoing progress at the Mir Ghous Bux Bizenjo Football stadium and Civil Hospital Gwadar, gaining insights into their advancements.
#### Pasni's Path to Progress
In a visit to the coastal city of Pasni, Chief Minister Kamal extended the reach of development with the initiation of various projects. These encompassed a drinking water supply reservoir, the restoration of the Pasni fish harbor, the Dosi Dam, the Shinzaani Dam, as well as projects focusing on shore protection and a Futsal ground.
Through these endeavors, Balochistan is forging ahead, bringing forth a new era of prosperity and opportunities for its residents.
