In a significant milestone for Pakistan Railways, a vessel transporting 70 brand-new coaches made port at Karachi on a Tuesday.
These coaches were destined to be integrated into various freight vehicles, with the aim of optimizing freight operations and expanding the fleet.
This event represents the third consignment of coaches to arrive in Pakistan as part of a contract with China, bringing the total number of coaches ordered to 230.
The arrival of these state-of-the-art coaches promised to usher in a new era of efficiency and effectiveness in Pakistan Railways' freight operations.
Previously, Pakistan had also received passenger train bogies and engines.
