President Alvi underscored the importance of fully operationalizing CPEC and the planned Special Economic Zones (SEZs). He encouraged Chinese IT sector investments in SEZs, emphasizing the advantages of Pakistan's cost-effective human resources, investor-friendly policies, robust cyber data protection, and tax incentives.
He also stressed the necessity of optimizing the road connections between China and Gwadar Port, ensuring their year-round usability to unlock their full potential.
President Alvi expressed Pakistan's commitment to ensuring the safety and security of Chinese workers and nationals contributing to strategic projects. He lauded China's exemplary efforts in poverty alleviation and healthcare provision, seeking inspiration from their innovative solutions.
Regarding defense cooperation, President Alvi highlighted the potential for joint marketing of the JF-17 aircraft in global markets, meeting the security requirements of prospective buyers.
Both nations were encouraged to explore opportunities for bilateral trade and investment in local currencies, fostering economic ties. President Alvi urged Chinese companies to consider establishing semiconductor outlets and manufacturing plants in Pakistan.
He extended appreciation for China's consistent financial and economic support, recognizing its positive impact on Pakistan's financial stability.
