In a significant step towards strengthening Pakistan-China cooperation in IT and e-commerce, the Guangzhou Tianhe Software and Information Industry Association and E-Commerce Gateway Pakistan (Pvt.) Ltd. have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This collaboration aims to promote ITCN Asia 2025, a premier IT and e-commerce trade fair set to take place in Lahore and Karachi from May 9-11.
The signing ceremony was attended by Muhammad Imran, Acting Consul General & Trade & Investment Counsellor, who emphasized the importance of this partnership in enhancing bilateral trade and investment relations. Recognized as China’s "Silicon Valley", Guangzhou’s Tianhe District is home to leading tech firms and startups, fostering innovation and cross-border collaborations.
Meanwhile, E-Commerce Gateway Pakistan has been a driving force in Pakistan’s IT and e-commerce landscape, organizing high-profile trade fairs like ITCN Asia. This partnership is expected to open new avenues for technological growth, digital economy expansion, and strengthened Pakistan-China business relations, according to Gwadar Pro.
