Minister Hussain emphasized the transformative impact of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), fostering increased economic cooperation between the two nations.
Highlighting vast investment opportunities in Pakistan's solar power sector, Minister Hussain invited Chinese investors to consider establishing manufacturing plants for solar power products. He expressed optimism that China would seize the offered opportunities and invest in renewable energy sources within the country. Additionally, Minister Hussain addressed the situation in Kashmir, condemning the restrictions imposed by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and expressing confidence in the eventual success of the Kashmiri freedom struggle.
Discussing challenges faced by Muslims in Assam, he noted the stripping of citizenship and their growing dissent against the Indian government. Minister Hussain pointed out the economic difficulties faced by India due to Modi's policies.
Comsats Rector Professor Dr. Raheel Qamar emphasized the availability of numerous opportunities in Pakistan for young graduates, highlighting the developmental purpose of the event. Abdul Rauf Mukhtar, Regional Chairman of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI), expected the Pak-China Business Forum to facilitate match-making, video conferencing, and business-to-business meetings to enhance bilateral relations.
Chairman of Everest International Expo, Wang Zihai, outlined the event's aim to explore untapped markets in China and Pakistan, considering the latest trends in business and technology across various industries. He expressed hope that the expo would attract foreign investment, fostering global connectivity and creating enhanced job opportunities.
