In the bustling landscape of Gwadar's burgeoning projects, the spotlight now shines on Haixintian Pelagic Fishery Overseas Base Company, a Chinese firm embarking on the ambitious construction of a fish processing facility within Gwadar Free Zone South during its initial phase.
Recently, the company initiated the importation of essential industrial components from China, setting the stage for the commencement of construction. The primary focus is on developing critical infrastructure like cold storage facilities that are indispensable to the fish processing industry. To accommodate this endeavor, Haixintian secured a spacious 5,911-square-meter warehouse in Gwadar Free Zone's Phase 1. Within this warehouse, 2,000 square meters have been allocated for standard workshop space, designed in accordance with the sublessor's specifications.
This groundbreaking venture marks a significant milestone as it will be the first-ever fishing and fish-related factory within Gwadar Free Zone. Notably, all requisite legal and administrative procedures for operation in Pakistan have already been meticulously addressed by the company. As this industry relies heavily on the expertise of the local workforce, it holds the potential to bring forth a wave of opportunities, both in terms of employment and business, for the local community.
