Celebrating Connectivity: Gwadar Eastbay Expressway Set to Welcome Traffic on May 16

A Major Milestone in Pakistan's Infrastructure Development and Economic Progress

The Gwadar Eastbay Expressway, a crucial mega infrastructure project with a budget of $179 million, is set to open for traffic on May 16th.

According to an official from the Gwadar Port Authority, the completion of the Eastbay Expressway, part of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, will establish vital connectivity for the Port and its Free Zone to the National Highways network. This will facilitate the seamless transportation of goods for import, export, and transit purposes.

This six-lane expressway will link the port to the Makran Coastal Highway, passing through the expansive 2,281-acre free trade zone within the Gwadar Port area.

The Gwadar Eastbay Expressway is a significant milestone that will unlock the full potential of Gwadar Port for trade purposes.
