Established on May 22, 2006, The Dhoria emerged from the vision of a dedicated group of philanthropists, led by Sir Hassan Ali Moosa. Recognizing the educational gaps in English language and computer science among local students, the group initiated a mission from a humble shop in a financially modest area. Facing financial constraints, they passionately preached their cause and persisted despite challenges.
Undeterred by troubles, the group dynamically tackled obstacles during the initial stages of their noble cause. Hassan Ali Moosa, the group's head, tirelessly sought government support to recognize Dhoria as an educational institute, emphasizing its sacred mission and dedication to students' futures. Eventually, their breakthrough came, and the group secured grants for their cause.
Mir Abdul Gahfoor Kalmati played a pivotal role by providing land for Dhoria's proper establishment. Much of the construction was generously undertaken by Mir Abdul Gahfoor Kalmati, with additional contributions from Sir Majid Sohrabi. Mir Hammal Kalmati and Mir Farooq Kalmati further invigorated the cause with their personal interest, contributing significantly to the institute's stability. The family's immense support extended to the construction of a library on the Dhoria campus, named the Mir Abdul Gahfoor Kalmati Library.
Today, Dhoria stands as a comprehensive academy, serving as an exemplary hub for learning English language and computer science, a testament to the dedication and collaborative efforts of its founders and supporters.
