Molecular Pathology Training in China: A Step Towards Pakistan-China Cooperation

The International Molecular Pathology Training Program, organized by China’s Ministry of Science and Technology, concluded at Anhui Medical University in Hefei on December 26. The program hosted over twenty pathologists and biomedical technicians from Pakistan and Mongolia. Participants engaged in a series of in-depth lectures and seminars on topics such as the introduction to molecular pathology, its clinical applications, and molecular immunology. The program also included practical experimental sessions, hospital visits, and tours of biotechnology enterprises, further expanding their understanding of cutting-edge medical technology.

Yu Yongqiang, Vice President of Anhui Medical University, emphasized the importance of sharing the latest molecular pathology advancements, reinforcing China’s commitment to global medical cooperation. This training initiative is part of China’s broader vision of building a community with a shared future for mankind, fostering international collaboration in the healthcare field. Several ongoing Pakistan-China cooperation programs at Anhui Medical University aim to enhance joint education, cultural exchanges, and collaborative research in the medical and healthcare sectors. Notably, the China-Pakistan Cross-cultural Educational Exchange Center and the China-Pakistan Pathology Study Session are key components of this bilateral partnership.
