Empowering Gwadar's Youth: Free Skill Development Courses by University of Gwadar and PCTVI

The Pak-China Technical & Vocational Institute (PCTVI) and the University of Gwadar are introducing three-month certificate courses, aiming to empower Gwadar's youth for modern job opportunities. These courses are entirely free of charge for all interested individuals.

These training programs are a result of a partnership between PCTVI, the University of Gwadar, and the National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC), made possible through the Prime Minister's Youth Skill Development Program.

The University of Gwadar, in collaboration with NAVTTC, presents a three-month "Amazon Virtual Assistant" program, open to both male and female students. This course equips candidates with the skills needed to secure online employment as Amazon Virtual Assistants, offering their services to companies operating on the platform.

PCTVI Gwadar, in conjunction with NAVTTC, offers two courses: 'Overhead Crane Operator in the Shipping Industry' and 'General in the Shipping Industry,' with a six-month duration. Eligible candidates between the ages of 18 and 40 can take advantage of this valuable opportunity. To register, candidates can apply online or submit their documents in person at PCTVI Gwadar.

PCTVI, a cutting-edge institution, was established with the support of the Chinese Government under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) in Gwadar. Gwadar's residents play a vital role as key stakeholders in the development of the port city. Their involvement in the management of the deep-sea port, participation in commercial and industrial ventures, and engagement in urbanization initiatives are crucial for the city's long-term growth. PCTVI is dedicated to enhancing the skills of Gwadar's active population, empowering them to contribute to the city's progress.
