In a significant boost to higher education in Balochistan, the Higher Education Commission (HEC) has officially granted a No Objection Certificate (NOC) to the University of Gwadar for launching an MS in Management Sciences. Scheduled to commence in the spring semester of 2026, this program marks a major step in expanding advanced academic opportunities for the region’s youth.
The HEC’s Quality Assurance Division has formally approved the University of Gwadar to offer the MS programme, ensuring it meets high standards of teaching, research, and innovation. Experienced and highly qualified faculty will lead the program, delivering comprehensive education that equips students with both theoretical knowledge and practical management skills.
Vice-Chancellor of the University of Gwadar, Prof. Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir, praised the Department of Management Sciences for achieving this milestone within three to four years. He highlighted that the HEC’s approval underscores the university’s commitment to enhancing the quality of higher education, broadening postgraduate offerings, and fostering research-driven academic growth.
This initiative reflects the University of Gwadar’s forward-looking approach, aiming to play a pivotal role in advancing administrative, management, and research education in Balochistan and across Pakistan.
