China-Pakistan MoU Boosts Collaboration in Health Sciences

Shihezi University, China, and the Centre of Excellence in Molecular Biology (CEMB), Pakistan, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen ties in health sciences research and academic exchange. The agreement, endorsed by leading academic figures including Prof. Dr. Wang Yuanzhi and Prof. Dr. Moaz ur Rahman, marks a significant milestone in China-Pakistan scientific collaboration.

Facilitated by Prof. Dr. He Cheng, the partnership aims to establish joint research centers, enable academic and researcher exchanges, and promote innovation in health sciences. Key highlights of the MoU include launching joint training programs for students and researchers, filing research proposals at national and international levels, and hosting global conferences. This agreement, signed during an International Symposium on Veterinary Vaccine and Drug Technology, is expected to impact health sciences profoundly.

Valid for five years with an extension provision, the partnership underscores the shared commitment of both nations to foster innovation, strengthen scientific ties, and contribute globally to health advancements. It represents a strategic alignment under the Belt and Road Initiative to address global challenges through innovation and cooperation.
