China has introduced a fully funded veterinary research programme for Pakistani postgraduate students at Xinjiang Agricultural University (XJAU), as announced by the University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF).
The 15-day programme, scheduled from November 10–24, 2025, will host master’s and PhD students from UAF and other Confucius Institute partner universities. All participants will receive comprehensive sponsorship, including accommodation, meals, tuition, and local transportation. Additionally, students with outstanding academic papers will be rewarded with round-trip air tickets.
The initiative is designed to offer practical training through laboratory work, field visits, and academic exchanges with peers from Uzbekistan and China. Participants will also have the opportunity to present their research papers at the prestigious 11th XJAU Postgraduate International Academic Forum.
According to UAF, this initiative aims to enhance educational collaboration under Sino-Pak relations while providing Pakistani students with valuable international exposure and opportunities in advanced veterinary research.
