New China-Pakistan TVET Forum Inaugurated to Boost Education & HR Development


The inaugural ceremony of the China-Pakistan Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Forum marked a significant milestone in bilateral cooperation between the two nations. Held in Beijing, this ground-breaking initiative aimed at enhancing education and workforce development, brought together key stakeholders including policymakers, government officials, and experts from renowned TVET service providers.

Titled "Fostering a Skilled Workforce: Forging a Brighter Future," the forum served as a platform for discussions focused on improving the quality and scope of technical and vocational training, essential for the future workforce in both countries. Representatives from diverse sectors, including enterprises and educational institutions, engaged in fruitful discussions to explore new avenues for collaboration.

The event, hosted by the Pakistan Embassy, underscored the growing importance of technical education and skill development as the backbone for economic growth. Additionally, several Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) were signed to enhance vocational training opportunities in Pakistan, with a focus on equipping the youth with practical skills for the ever-evolving job market.
