To commemorate the 70-year diplomatic partnership between Pakistan and China, the Pakistani Embassy in Beijing orchestrated a captivating book launch event titled "You and Us – II," penned by Lu Shulin, an esteemed Chinese diplomat and former Ambassador to Pakistan.

According to Gwadar Pro, this book is a treasure trove of perspectives from eminent Pakistani and Chinese figures, including politicians, diplomats, artists, and intellectuals, all reflecting on the enduring bond between Pakistan and China. Enhanced with historical photographs and personal anecdotes, it aims to honor the visionaries who crafted the Pakistan-China friendship and impart its timeless essence to the younger generations of both nations. The ceremony was graced by the presence of distinguished Chinese officials, intellectuals, embassy personnel, and media representatives.

In his address, Pakistani Ambassador to China, Moin ul Haque, commended Lu Shulin for his lifelong dedication to fortifying Pakistan-China relations. He underscored that the unwavering commitment of individuals from diverse backgrounds in both countries has not only bolstered the Pakistan-China friendship but has also translated into increasingly profound political, economic, and cultural collaborations between the two nations. Mr. Lu, sharing his sentiments on the occasion, described "You and Us – II" as a tribute to the profound bilateral friendship between Pakistan and China and the enduring bond between the peoples and officials of both nations. He emphasized that Pakistan holds a unique and cherished place not only in China's foreign policy but also in the hearts of Chinese diplomats.
