Ten leading Chinese educational institutions have formalized cooperation agreements with Pakistan’s National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC) and the China-Pakistan TVET-Industry Center of Excellence (CPTICE) during a high-profile visit by a Pakistani delegation led by Gulmina Bilal, Chairperson of NAVTTC and Co-Chairperson of CPTICE, to Anhui Province.
The agreements span multiple sectors, including new energy vehicles, traditional Chinese medicine, smart manufacturing, energy and infrastructure, agriculture and animal husbandry, and information technology. Officials described the signing as a “substantive step forward in Anhui-Pakistan industry-education collaboration, laying a solid foundation for subsequent project implementation.”

These agreements were finalized on the sidelines of the Anhui-Pakistan International Exchange and Cooperation Forum on Industry-Education Integration, held on January 12, 2026. The forum was jointly organised by the Anhui Education Development Foundation (AEDF), the Anhui Vocational Education International Development Alliance, and CPTICE, and hosted by Anhui Communications Vocational & Technical College, under the guidance of the Department of Education of Anhui Province and the Anhui Provincial People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries.
Representatives from 19 universities and vocational colleges across Anhui attended the forum, with seven institutions presenting their cooperation intentions in fields including mineral resources, traditional Chinese medicine, smart manufacturing, agriculture, IT, new energy vehicles, and environmental protection. Pakistani delegates actively engaged in discussions, reflecting strong mutual interest in advancing practical collaboration.
The forum marked a significant step toward aligning educational programs with industrial requirements, strengthening skills development, and fostering talent cultivation within the broader framework of China-Pakistan cooperation. CPTICE, officially established on December 4, 2024, serves as a dedicated platform for academic-industrial integration between China and Pakistan, following an MoU signed between NAVTTC and TANG as exclusive partners.
