Director Wang Shengjie from the Chinese Embassy in Pakistan highlighted significant developments in Gwadar. He mentioned the completion of the economic zone, along with a cutting-edge international airport, a hospital, and a metro center, which are nearing completion. Additionally, Gwadar now boasts a connection to the National Highway through the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor Expressway. China has also successfully completed eleven electricity projects in Pakistan. Wang Shengjie added that a thousand capacity-building programs have been launched to bolster various sectors in Pakistan.
Former Ambassador Ali Sarwar Naqvi praised China's pivotal role in Pakistan's development, particularly through the CPEC investment, at a time when other nations were hesitant. Air Vice Marshal retired Ijaz Mahmood Malik, a Defense Analyst, acknowledged China's assistance in establishing an aeronautical complex for the production of J-17 Thunder fighter jets.
Reema Shaukat, an International Affairs Expert, expressed gratitude to China for its support of Pakistan's stance on international platforms, particularly concerning Afghanistan and India. Economist Dr. Noor Fatima noted China's global leadership in promoting a market-oriented economy.
Dr. Mahmood-ul-Hassan from the Centre of South Asia and International Studies highlighted how China's Belt and Road Initiative fosters eco-friendly cooperation among diverse regions and countries worldwide.
