A high-level Chinese trade delegation from the China Asia Economic Development Association visited the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) on Tuesday, aiming to explore business and investment opportunities in Pakistan. Led by Qian Chui Zhu, president of the Association for Foreign Trade, the delegation included members from various development committees and institutions, reflecting the wide-ranging interests in Pakistan's growing industrial and economic potential.
The SIFC officials gave a warm reception to the delegation and delivered a detailed presentation covering the country’s industrial growth, investment prospects, and critical features of the economic environment. The delegation displayed strong interest in investing across vital sectors such as industry, banking, defence, energy, agriculture, livestock, aquaculture, and healthcare.
With growing confidence in Pakistan's efforts to support foreign investment through the SIFC, the Chinese delegation viewed this visit as a stepping stone to strengthen business-to-business and government-to-business initiatives between the two countries.
